This past Sunday’s Star Club was Margaret Gray’s talk on relational astrology using charts with vague or no birth times. A must watch for anyone who provides synastry readings, or wants to delve into a certain relationship on a cosmic level!

In the talk, Margaret brings up how online interactions (for dating or socializing) has changed the game for how we meet and document our milestones with friends and significant others. This made me wonder: Is there a planet/sign signature that will act as an indicator for how someone is perceived online versus in person? Could a different angle, cusp or point outweigh the Ascendant for future astrologers when it comes to virtual first impressions? If you have an online business or are active in an online community, do you find you present yourself differently than you would in person? What, if anything, do you think changes?

This month we explore Celestial Agriculture by revisiting the ISAR Journal archive. We are highlighting Nick Kollerstrom's article in the August 2018 issue, examining how lunar rhythms guide the growing process.  

The practice of moon gardening relies on the connection between the four elements and plant development. Different parts of the plant respond to specific elemental triggers in the star zodiac:

We are dusting off this 2024 gem from David Railey as we lean into this month’s focus on declinations. It is the perfect primer for understanding the "vertical" dimension of your natal chart. While the zodiac shows where a planet sits along the horizon, declination reveals its height. High or low placement creates "out of bounds" intensity that regular horoscopes miss.
