Welcome to the ISAR Online Forum, a global space created to support learning, professional growth, and meaningful connection among astrologers at all stages of their journey.

This forum reflects ISAR’s core values: ethical practice, respect, inclusivity, education, and community. By participating, you agree to uphold the following guidelines to help maintain a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for everyone.

This forum thrives when members actively participate.

  • You do not need to be an expert to contribute - questions, reflections, and lived experiences are just as valuable as technical knowledge.

  • Sharing respectfully helps deepen collective understanding and strengthen our global astrological community.

  • Thoughtful participation supports both personal growth and learning of others.

If something resonates with you, say so.If you’re curious, ask.If you have insight to offer, share it.

2. Lead with Respect & Kindness

  • Treat all members with courtesy, empathy, and professionalism.

  • Differences in astrological approach, experience level, cultural background, or opinion are welcome - disrespectful or dismissive behavior is not.

  • Speak to others as colleagues and peers, even when you disagree.

Healthy dialogue strengthens our community.

3. Foster a Supportive Learning Environment

  • This forum is a place to ask questions, share insights, and learn together.

  • Encourage curiosity and constructive discussion rather than competition.

  • When offering feedback, aim to be helpful, thoughtful, and educational.

  • Honor client confidentiality at all times.

  • Avoid sharing identifiable client details or sensitive personal information.

  • Refrain from fear-based, fatalistic, or alarmist interpretations.

  • Astrology shared here should empower, not intimidate or predict harm.

5. Practice Inclusive & Global Awareness

  • ISAR is an international organization - members come from diverse cultures, traditions, and lived experiences.

  • Use inclusive language and remain mindful that interpretations, expressions, and norms may vary globally.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind will not be tolerated.

6. Keep Discussions Professional & On-Topic

  • Please post in the appropriate forum sections.

  • Keep conversations aligned with astrology, professional development, ISAR programs, or related educational topics.

  • Personal promotion, solicitation, or advertising should follow ISAR’s designated guidelines or channels. 

  • To support visibility and collaboration within the ISAR community, we host a Self-Promotion Day on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.

On this day, members are welcome to share:

  • Astrological services or offerings

  • Courses, workshops, talks, or events

  • Articles, podcasts, books, or research

  • Websites, newsletters, or educational platforms

How to Share Respectfully

To keep this space aligned and supportive, please:

  • Share one promotional post per Self-Promotion Day

  • Clearly describe what you’re offering and who it’s for

  • Keep the tone informative rather than sales-driven

  • Engage with others’ posts - visibility is a shared practice

  • Ensure offerings align with ethical astrology practices

What to Avoid

  • Posting promotional content outside of Self-Promotion Day

  • Reposting the same offering repeatedly across multiple threads

  • Promoting content that conflicts with ISAR’s ethical standards

 

7. Moderation & Accountability

  • The ISAR moderation team is here to support the community and uphold these guidelines.

  • Posts or comments that violate these principles may be edited or removed.

  • Repeated violations may result in restricted access to the forum.

  • These actions are taken with care and alignment to ISAR’s mission.

8. Co-Creating the ISAR Community

This forum is a shared space. Each member contributes to its tone, quality, and integrity.
