Furthermore, when a client projects their subconscious, we need to determine how to provide professional reinforcement and how to facilitate the processing of material within this projective space. There are instances where the subconscious drives an unhealthy pattern of functioning; if this is reinforced, the client may suffer long-term harm. Therefore, it is necessary to ground them in reality so they can live their life free from trauma.
