Predicting with Solar Returns: Angularity & Cadency

In this talk Michelle will lead the audience through a few different techniques from the Medieval Islamicate tradition for analyzing the Solar Return chart that incorporates assessing the angularity and cadency of indicated planets. Through assessing accidental dignity, we will see how this adds nuance and how these planetary signatures are interpreted to make more concrete predictions.

Speaker Bio

Michelle Craft is a practicing astrologer for about 5 years in the SF Bay Area. Her practice primarily centers on Medieval Islamicate techniques and philosophies, but she also incorporates some other traditional and Hellenistic elements. She has studied under Samuel Reynolds, Kelly Surtees, and Ali A. Olomi. She has presented talks for AYA, SFAS, and the Astrologer’s Co-op. She also teaches astrology workshops in person in the East Bay. Michelle is passionate about teaching astrological techniques and sharing her love of predictive astrology with others.
