About The Event

This seminar introduces the concept of Qualitative Research into astrology. Qualitative

Research aims to explore subjective truths (what do people believe?) and lived

experience (what do they do?). The key methods of enquiry are interviews, or in-depth

conversations, and participant observation, where the researcher engages in a practice,

ritual or event as an active participant.


It will then look at key examples of research amongst astrologers, including the seminal
