Presenter Bio

Joy Usher began her studies in 1990 and completed them with Robert Zoller's Medieval Course in 1995. She began teaching astrology in 1996 and became co-principal of AstroMundi in 2002. She continues to teach and consult, lecturing at national and international conferences. Collaboration over the past few years with Taiwanese school Skygaze Academy of Traditional Astrology (SATA) has extended her international reputation as a lecturer, with first book Scala Coeli: Ladder to Heaven (co-written with Mari Garcia) translated into Mandarin in 2025. In 2018 she published two books on traditional astrology, A Tiny Universe, and A Tiny Universe's Companion. Her third book is a definitive work on a 12th century technique titled Munakara: Planets in Contention, and is now available from Revelore Press or through online bookshops.
