David Railey

David began to study astrology in March 1970 as a college student majoring in journalism.  A full-time practicing astrologer since 1976, he passed the professional exam required by the City of Atlanta, and later the AFA Exam and the ISAR Competency Exam becoming an ISAR CAP. David co-founded the Daily Planets Astrology Center in Atlanta with Jeff Jawer in 1980.

He served 4-years on the Atlanta Board of Astrology Examiners and was twice president of the Metro Atlanta Astrological Society.  David was an AFAN Steering Committee member from 2010 – 2014, and PR media liaison with Shelley Ackerman for UAC 2012.  Currently, David is the Vice President of ISAR, the largest global astrological association, and Chair of the Competency Exam committee.

He is the author of The Soul Purpose, (2003, 2009 English), (2010 Chinese), and the Journey of A Lifetime (2018 Chinese and English). David currently spends most of his time teaching and promoting western astrology in China through www.nodoor.com  and the Nodoor School of Astrology, co-founded with Jiang Ying in 2010.
