Astrology Research Center
Greetings and welcome to the new ISAR Research Center! Our mission is to promote the distribution of research findings, support the development of high-quality astrological research, and foster a spirit of collaboration among researchers.
The ISAR Research Center will support the rich diversity of research designs that are possible in astrology. Accordingly, ISAR will avoid endorsing any particular research philosophy or commercial research product. Success in research is achieved by a community of people who understand the issues, share their area of expertise, and respect differences of opinion as long as they are based on sound academic principles.
Research Methods: Papers that explain different research methods used by astrological researchers. This is a good place to begin a study of research in astrology. The advantages and disadvantages of various research methods are discussed.
Commentary on Research Designs:  Each research design presents its own set of problems and issues. As one implements a research design, issues can arise that were not obvious at the outset. In this section are papers that provide suggestions on how to conduct proposed research as well as commentary on research designs of past studies.
Research Papers: Summations of seminal research articles with links to original studies. This is not a comprehensive list of all research, but rather a sampling of studies that are notable for their contribution to the understanding of astrology, demonstrate principles of astrological research, and/or have been cited frequently in the research literature.
Research Resources: A list of resources for conducting astrological research, including books and software. Most of these resources, such as software, for example, are constantly evolving and it is best to get up-to-date information from the producers of these products, services, and information if you are interested in specific details. In this section we provide a list of resources that you can investigate further.
Research Suggestions: Suggestions for feasible research projects. If you are considering conducting astrological research, you might get some good ideas on research studies that are worthwhile from this list of suggested research projects.
Research Community: A place to discuss your research project, find collaborators, ask questions and share your expertise.
