ISAR will be conducting its much acclaimed ISAR Consulting Skills Training at the OPA Astrologer’s Retreat (OPA) and at the United Astrology Conference (UAC).
This is a 16-20 hour intensive training designed to give astrologers basic listening and empathy skills that facilitate the astrologer-client relationship in the consulting session. Integrated with the basic principles of chart interpretation, these active listening and communication skills provide the astrologer with ability to respond to clients’ most personal thoughts and feelings and in this way help clients be fully understood. Emotional and content understanding is a key ingredient in forming a trusting relationship with our clients and to respond in a way to impart astrological information with compassion, understanding and sensitivity by “being with” your client.
At the OPA Astrologer’s Retreat on beautiful Sanibel Island, Florida, ISAR will be hosting a pre-retreat ISAR Consulting Skills training session on Sunday, September 23 – Tuesday, September 25, 2007. Due to the necessity to assign trainers and prepare materials, registration for the ISAR Consulting Skills Training at OPA Astrologer’s Retreat will close August 15, 2007.
ISAR will also be conducting a pre-conference ISAR Consulting Skills training at the United Astrology Conference (UAC) in Denver, Colorado in May of 2008. This Consulting Skills training session is scheduled for Monday, May 12 – Wednesday May 14, 2008. Due to the necessity to assign trainers and prepare materials, registration for the ISAR Consulting Skills Training at the United Astrology Conference (UAC) will close April 1, 2008.
