A Quarterly Publication of the International Society for Astrological
Research
Greetings, everyone!
There are many benefits available to ISAR members, but, as co-editors of
"ISAR's International Astrologer," our newly renamed journal, we're absolutely
convinced that your quarterly subscription will be at the very top of your
list!
This membership-only journal offers a diverse selection of quality articles
from every avenue of astrological interest -- from mundane to
political/celebrity analysis to "how-to" columns on research and financial
astrology. We've got book reviews, conference information, and timely community
news. In short, we try our best to include something for everyone in each and
every issue. We also insist that our authors write clearly, simply, and
concisely, in terms that everyone can understand and appreciate. So you'll be
able to learn new techniques and absorb new research pointers quite easily. And
if you have questions or suggestions, our "Reader's Corner" will allow you to
voice them - and to share your opinions with the entire membership.

The ISAR Journal's Mission Statement
ISAR's purpose is to assist, encourage, and educate those who wish to achieve
and maintain a high professional standard of competence in the field of
astrology. We support the discovery, development and use of techniques relevant
to astrological research, and offer members the opportunity to participate in
frequent conferences that are enlightening, educational, and fun! In short, we
take our jobs - but not ourselves - very seriously.
If you're interested in writing for the journal, you should know that we're
looking for 'just the facts' - simply, clearly, and objectively stated.
(But please don't hesitate to have fun while you're at it!) We're not worried
about whether you're a professional or a student. If you have something to teach
us, some research to share, or some profound philosophical thoughts on applying
astrology to life, we'd like to hear from you. Above all else, we want quality
articles that will educate, interest and entertain all levels of astrologers and
astrology students. Along those lines, please keep in mind that if you write
your article with a wide audience in mind, your work will reach all levels of
readers, and encourage even newcomers to become - and stay - interested in our
wonderful field.
Advertising
These magazines are keepers! Our members hold on to them and refer to them
often, so your ads will work for you for much longer than a single season. In
addition, you'll be helping to support a non-profit research organization that's
dedicated to preserving and maintaining a positive, professional reputation for
astrology - which will benefit us all!
Your product or service does not need to be astrological. Many of our members
and supporters have other businesses which need advertising - so please do
consider networking through placing an ad in our journal.
In addition
Regular advertisers are given a link to their businesses on our web site --
an additional bonus!
