Many forecasts have been made that the President of the USA elected in the year 2000 will not finish his term.  This is based on the election of Presidents when the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction is in Earth signs in years ending with zero. President George W. Bush was elected in November of 2000.  I do not believe that one should forecast the exact time of death of anyone.  I also believe that we create our own future karma by our present thoughts and actions.  Now we will consider the chart of President Bush born on July 6, 1946 at 7:27 AM EDT in New Haven, Connecticut 41N18; 72W55.

To judge a forecast for a chart one must consider the unfolding of the life pattern from the Hindu Planetary period (called a Dasha); also the transits and eclipses, after one has made a thorough study of the chart.   The Vimshottari Dasha sequence for October 2003 is Saturn/Rahu.  From November 1, 2003 the Dasha sequence is Saturn/Jupiter. 

Saturn is lord of the 7th and 8th houses.  As ruler of the 7th house, it is a maraka lord, that is, it is capable of inflicting death, if the span of life is coming to an end.   Saturn, as the 7th lord, is the position giver. By its association with Venus, the lord of the 4th and 11th, it helped to make Bush the President of the USA, but as Saturn gives, it can also take away as the 8th lord of death.  It also associates with Mercury, the 3rd lord.  Saturn aspects the Moon, the ruler of the 1st house and also Jupiter, the 9th and the 6th lord both in the 3rd house.

The 3rd house is also considered as a longevity house.  It holds the rising lord (Moon) and the 6th lord (Jupiter). The 12th house from the 3rd is the 2nd house.  The Sun, lord of the 2nd, is also considered as a maraka lord.  It is hemmed in by malefics in the 12th house. The 6th, 8th and 12th are adverse Trik houses. They spoil the house in which they are placed!  The 12th house is that of loss, also one's own life. The 8th house is that of longevity and/or death.  Both the 8th and the 12th lords are placed in the 1st house!  That is the self!  Mars as lord of the 10th (career) and the 5th gave President Bush excellent results. It thrust him into power.  Rahu (the No. Node of the Moon) is always an unqualified malefic.  In this chart it is in an excellent house for wealth.  Its dispositor is Venus. It gives material benefits and great opulence. 

From the Moon, the 7th (maraka) lord, Jupiter, associates with the Moon.  They are damaged by the aspect of Saturn as the 6th lord.  Saturn as the 6th lord harms Mercury, the lagna (1st house) lord, by its association.  It also damages Venus, the lord of the 2nd and 9th, by its association.  Rahu throws its aspect on the Moon and Jupiter.  Mars, the 8th lord in the 12th, aspects the 6th house of health and enemies.  

The most important Solar eclipse that effects the chart of President Bush (and his whole family), is that of June 10, 2002 at 26+ Taurus (19:54 Gemini in the Tropical zodiac).  It was on transiting Saturn opposition transiting Pluto. This aspect supports the empowerment of the conservative movement, the arrogance of the use of power and fundamentalism not only in the Bush Administration but around the world.  This eclipse was exactly on Bush's Rahu (N.Node) and Uranus, the planet of sudden, unexpected occurrences. The effects of a Solar eclipse can occur several years after a Solar eclipse when that degree is activated. Also, the effects of an eclipse can occur many weeks before an eclipse.  Eclipses, transits and dashas give the timing for a possible event.

I believe that the Lunar eclipse on November 9, 2003 at 23 ARIES (16+Taurus in the Tropical zodiac), plus transiting RAHU at 27 ARIES, plus the progressed Moon in Bush's Tropical chart at 26+ Libra, will activate what is called by Western astrologers, "A FINGER OF GOD ASPECT" (a yod). The progressed Moon will conjunct the heliocentric South Node of MARS (26 Libra).  It will aspect the heliocentric South Node of Pluto (26+ Sagittarius) and will throw its aspect on RAHU and Uranus at 26+ TAURUS. This is the real timing of an event, in my opinion.  In addition, transiting Saturn will be conjunct his Sun at 20+ Gemini.  Transiting Pluto in November 2003 will be almost exactly on his Ketu (So. Node of the Moon).  Transiting Neptune will aspect his ascendant by an opposition. Transiting Mars in early November will aspect his Mars by an opposition. This is a most INAUSPICIOUS time for President Bush.  The Varshaphal (Solar Return) chart also looks ominous. In November the Vimsottari Dasha will change to Saturn/Jupiter/Jupiter.  Jupiter will activate the 6th HOUSE OF ENEMIES.  A yod, is considered as an aspect relating to some change in the life, often connected to death.   

All planets except for the Sun have a geocentric and a heliocentric North and South Node. In Vedic astrology we use only the Moon's geocentric North and South Node, called: Rahu and Ketu.  The nodes of the planets, however, are very important.  They act like the planet.  The heliocentric nodes move very slowly.

For longevity we consider the 8th house, its lord, the 3rd house, its lord, the Lagna, its lord, also the Sun, as the karaka (significator) for the body, the lord of the rising star, and of course, Saturn the karaka for longevity.   Saturn is the lord of the rising star, Pushya.  We might note that the lagna, Mercury and Venus are placed in sarpa drekkana (the 2nd and 3rd one-third division of the sign, Cancer). This makes them sensitive to longevity.  It is interesting that the Nakshatra (Lunar Mansions) rulers of the current and future Dasha Lords are ruled by malefics.  Saturn is in the Nakshatra of Saturn.  Rahu and Jupiter are in the Nakshatra of Mars.  Gulika, a shadow planet that acts like a malefic Saturn is on Bush's rising degree in an orb of less than 2 degrees.  It is life threatening on his ascendant.

It is important to study the varga or divisional charts, especially the Drekkana.  In this chart, Mars is the lagna lord in the 2nd house. It aspects the dreaded 8th house, the 22nd Drekkana.  

Mars is also the lord of the adverse 64th Navamsha.  In that chart Mars, as the 1st and 6th lord, associates with Saturn, Jupiter, the Moon and Rahu in the 10th house.  As lord of the 1st, Mars gives great success, but as lord of the 6th, Mars makes many enemies. Rahu in the rasi (natal chart) is aspected by Jupiter, the lord of the 9th house giving him good fortune, but Jupiter is also the lord of the 6th house of enemies. 

To corroborate the timing for a possible event, it is helpful to study the charts of one's family.  The former President, his father, GEORGE BUSH was born on June 12, 1924 at 11:38 AM EDT in Milton, Massachusetts 42N15; 71W05.  The Vimshottari dasha in October-November 2003 is Ketu/Rahu/Saturn. The 5th house of children, Sagittarius, is badly afflicted by the aspect of retrograde, exalted Saturn in Libra, (a maraka lord). Retrograde planets also aspect from the previous house.  Saturn from Virgo afflicts the lord of the 5th, Jupiter in Scorpio. We also judge a chart from the significator of children, Jupiter, which is in Scorpio.  Mars, the lagna lord of Scorpio, is in the RK AXIS. 

The Varga charts further determine the condition of the planet relating to a specific subject.  The Saptamamsa and the 5th house are for children.  We study the lagna and lagna lord, the significator house and its lord. 

Scorpio is the lagna. The lagna lord, Mars, is afflicted in the RK axis.  Saturn from its previous house (Virgo) afflicts the Scorpio lagna.  

The 5th house is owned by Pisces.  Jupiter, the lagna lord of the 5th house, is badly harmed by the 8th aspect of Mars from the 12th (Aquarius).  Retrograde Jupiter from its previous house (Leo) is afflicted by the RK AXIS and by Mars.  Saturn from its previous house (Virgo) afflicts the Pisces lagna and it is afflicted by the 8th aspect of Mars from the 12th house. From Jupiter, Mars, the 8th lord, throws its 8th aspect on Jupiter from the 6th house.  

Now on to the chart of BARBARA BUSH, the mother of the President.  She was born on June 8, 1925 at 7:00 PM EDT in Rye, NY. 40N49; 73W41.  The Vimshottari dasha is Saturn/Jupiter. Pisces is the 5th house from the Scorpio lagna. Exalted, retrograde Saturn from its previous house, (Virgo) aspects the 5th house and it is afflicted by Mars from the 8th house.  Jupiter as the lord of the 5th and as the significator for children, is afflicted by Saturn from the 8th from the 5th house. Mars in Gemini, afflicts Jupiter in Sagittarius.    

Judging the Saptamamsa chart for children, we have Jupiter in the Gemini lagna badly afflicted by Mars, the 6th lord, from the 7th.  Mercury, the lagna lord, associates with Saturn, the malefic 8th lord in the 8th house.    

The 5th house of the Saptamamsa, Libra, is damaged by its occupant, Ketu.  It receives an aspect from the natural malefic Sun in Aries.   Saturn in Capricorn afflicts the Libra 5th house by its 10th aspect.  In addition Mars in Sagittarius afflicts Venus in Cancer, the 5th lord, by its 8th aspect.   

The TWIN children of President Bush were born on Nov. 25, 1981 at 10:00 AM. CST in Dallas, Texas 32N47; 96W49. I have rectified the time to 10:04 AM.  The Vimshottari dasha for October, November 2003 is Saturn/Jupiter. We consider the 9th house for father. The planet signifying father is the Sun, which happens to be the lagna lord for the Leo 9th house.  Mars is in Leo. It afflicts the 9th house.  Mars afflicts the Sun in Scorpio by its aspect.  Saturn, in Virgo, as the 6th and 7th lord from the 9th afflicts the Sun by its aspect.     

In the Varga chart for parents we consider the Dwadasamsa.  The Cancer lagna is occupied by Saturn.  Saturn afflicts the lagna lord Moon in Virgo by its aspect.  The Moon is again afflicted by Mars in Gemimi from the 12th.  In the Dwadasamsa, the 9th house is Pisces.  Its lord, Jupiter in Sagittarius is afflicted by Mars in Gemini. 

JEB BUSH, the brother of President Bush was born on February 11, 1953 at 8:50 PM CST in Midland, Texas, 31N59; 102W05. The Vimshottari dasha for October and November is Jupiter/Moon.  For a sibling we study the 3rd house: Scorpio.  Retrograde, exalted Saturn from its previous house, Virgo, afflicts the Scorpio lagna and it afflicts Mars in Pisces, the lagna lord for Scorpio.  Saturn in Libra afflicts Jupiter in Aries.  

In the Drekkana chart, we study the Virgo lagna.  The lagna is afflicted by the aspect of  Mars in Pisces, as the 8th lord.  Retrograde, exalted Saturn in Libra by its aspect from the previous house, afflicts the Virgo lagna.  Jupiter, in Sagittarius, is afflicted by Saturn's aspect.   Mars in Pisces, is the lord of the 3rd (Scorpio) and is the significator for sibling. The Sun as the 6th lord from Mars harms Mars from Virgo.  The RK axis in Scorpio/Taurus damages the 3rd house of siblings.

I believe that the engines of greed, self-interest and absolute power are driving the policies of President Bush. Peace must be based on political, economic and social JUSTICE not just for the few, but for the whole world.  It can be achieved through education, ethical right action, and equitably sharing the resources of the world to make life on this planet an expression of the Divine Plan.
