Who would have thought almost eight years ago in 1992 that Hillary's progressed Sun opposing natal Uranus would mean that she would have a new career! At that time, I thought it just meant a change of residence OUT of the White House. The transits and secondary progressions for her election in 2001 and reelection in 2007 as Senator from New York or whatever State she chooses, are so favorable that she could even possibly run for President in 2013. Being in the White House again would be a familiar place, but she would NOT be reelected as President in 2017. If she opted NOT to run for President she would easily be reelected as Senator in 2013, and again in 2019. Astrologers are indebted to Marion March, Lois M. Hillary gave her time of birth as 8:00 PM, but her Mother indicated that she was born in the morning. The time of 8:02 A.M. works very well and it gives her an ascendant of 22:07 Scorpio. (Rodden rating DD) In November 1992 when Bill Clinton was elected as President, transiting Pluto was on her ascendant.

Unfortunately we have no time of birth for her major opponent, Rudolph Giuliani, the Mayor of New York City. He was born on May 28, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York, according to a news report at the time he became Mayor. The solar eclipse of August 11, 1999 is exactly on his Jupiter at 18:01 Leo. Jupiter raises his hopes and aspirations.

The solar eclipse of August 11, 1999 aspects Hillary's natal and progressed Saturn, the natural ruler of career/work. Hillary's progressed Mars (5:05 Virgo) conjoins her natal Midheaven (5:07 Virgo) almost exactly at the time of the election on November 7, 2000. Mars is the co-ruler of her Scorpio ascendant. This tells us that the time is ripe for her to put all of her energy into a new career. Mars does bring changes in the life. It also brings challenges, confrontations and stress relating to her occupation (Midheaven). With Pluto and Mars as rulers of her Scorpio ascendant, she has the determination to meet all the challenges life has to offer her. Progressed Mars will be stationary at 7 Virgo so it is moving very slowly and covers many years. That means she has been and will remain in a position of authority for many years.

Since there seems to be a question of the correct time of birth, I thought it would be interesting to compare the various types of progressions for the day of the election: November 7, 2000. There are secondary, tertiary, minor progressions, etc. Each represents a specific rate at which the Midheaven is directed. For secondary progressions, most astrologers use the Solar Arc Midheaven and the Right Ascension Mean Sun Midheaven, (which is the Naibod rate for the right ascension), but there are others.

The most potent aspects for the timing of an event are progressed planets to natal planets and angles within a one degree orb, with the exception of Mars. (Mars is always impatient so I allow a two degree orb for Mars.) This is followed by an examination of the planetary transits and the eclipses that activate the timing of the progressions.

At the time of the election on Nov. 7, 2000, Hillary's Right Ascension Mean Sun (R.A.M.S.) progressed Midheaven at 1:22 Scorpio conjoins her natal Sun at 2:19 Scorpio. The combination of Midheaven and Sun is the perfect timing for the expression of leadership, honor, status, confidence and power. The Solar Arc Right Ascension progressed Midheaven at 4:30 Scorpio sextiles her natal MC at 5:07 Virgo. This also verifies a successful outcome in the election. Her Naibod Longitudinal progressed Ascendant at 2:21 Capricorn sextiles her natal Sun. This aspect confers honor, rewards and great elation. Her Solar Arc directed ascendant at 15:37 Capricorn quincunxes natal Pluto at 14:51 Leo. The subtle energies of Pluto psychologically relate to her new power and influence. The Solar Arc progressed Midheaven at 28:40 Libra does not aspect any natal planet, nor does the Solar Arc progressed Ascendant at 3:30 Capricorn. Well, you can't win them all! You might note, however, that when the Solar Arc progressed Ascendant was sextile her natal Sun in 1999, she made the decision to enter the race for Senator of the State of New York.

A most auspicious progression at the time of this election is progressed Venus at 22:19 Capricorn sextile her natal ascendant and Mercury, the ruler of her career/profession. A Venus or Jupiter sextile is the cosmic blessing of abundance, prosperity and one's heart's desire! In politics "money talks"; and it is essential in our so-called "democratic" form of government (with no campaign finance reform). Venus blesses her with success in her chosen field of politics. The progressed Moon almost exactly trining the natal Sun, evokes euphoria at the time of the election.

The progressed Sun at 25:51 Sagittarius opposition Uranus at 25:56 Gemini signals the great change of direction in her life. Progressively-inclined Uranus sets her on a path of new adventure and aspirations. There are many other favorable aspects such as progressed Jupiter sextile natal Neptune in the 11th house of aspirations, etc. but this is more than enough to validate her victory at the polls on November 7, 2000.

The Tertiary progressions for the date of the election overwhelmingly substantiate the favorable placements of the secondary progressions. Progressed Venus conjoins the true So. Node of the Moon. The progressed Ascendant sextiles her natal Midheaven. The progressed Midheaven conjoins natal Mars. Progressed Jupiter sextiles the natal ascendant. Progressed Sun conjuncts natal Neptune. Progressed Uranus sextiles the MC. Progressed Venus trines natal Moon, etc. This is more than enough to convince any skeptic that Hillary will win the Senatorial election by a landslide. The Minor progressions for the time of the election were not as impressive as the Tertiaries, although there were enough aspects to warrant a victory in her Senatorial race.

On July 1, 2000 there is a solar eclipse at 10:15 Cancer on her natal declination Pluto which when converted to the ecliptic equivalent is 9:36 Cancer. This augurs the timing of her influence and power. Not only that, but the solar eclipse on July 31, 2000 at 8:11 Leo is almost exactly on her natal declination Mars (8:54 Leo) converted to the ecliptic equivalent.

Pluto and Mars are rulers of her Scorpio ascendant. If that isn't enough to show that her time has come to fulfill her destiny, her natal declination Saturn converted to the ecliptic equivalent is at 18:33 Leo and the grand cross, solar eclipse on 8/11/99 was at 18:21 Leo! The effects of solar eclipses last for years. This is enough to propel her into a dominant position of status, authority and power. More research must be performed with declinations and their progressions. Declination is the distance measured from the celestial equator. (The parallel aspect is formed by declination).

At the time she is sworn into office in January 2001, transiting Saturn is stationary on her natal North Node. That is impressive, since the North Node in Hindu astrology represents material rewards and mundane success. Transiting Pluto on November 7, 2000 is in her first house at 11:41 Sagittarius conjoining her progressed Jupiter at 12:13 Sagittarius. Her aspirations are set on an altruistic course. Transiting Pluto also conjoins her natal Equatorial Ascendant (also called the East Point) at 8:40 Sag. That has the effect of Pluto being on an auxiliary ascendant. Pluto propels her politically into orbit.

Every six years senators are required to run for election. Will Hillary be reelected on November 7, 2006?

For the answer, we must study her transits, progressions and eclipses. At that time her progressed Sun sextiles the natal Sun. Her self-esteem, confidence and prestige are manifest through her leadership ability. Progressed Venus at 29:46 Capricorn SEXTILES natal Jupiter at 00:31 Sagittarius; and progressed Jupiter at 13:31 Sagittarius TRINES natal Mars, which represents herself. (Oh my, what beautiful aspects! How could she lose?) The benedictions of the Cosmos are paying homage to her! A lunar eclipse on September 7, 2006 at 15:05 Pisces will activate the Jupiter TRINE Mars. Mars is co-ruler of her ascendant. It represents herself, blessed with opportunity to exert her willpower to benefit herself and others. The solar eclipse on September 22, 2006 at 29:20 Virgo will activate progressed Venus at 29:46 Capricorn SEXTILE natal Jupiter at 00:31 Sagittarius in the 1st house. Venus and Jupiter are the opulence-beneficence-bestowing planets. With these auspicious aspects, she can only win the reelection; especially since her Solar Arc progressed Midheaven at 4:45 Scorpio sextiles her natal Midheaven at 5:06 Virgo! Favorable progressed Midheaven (or Ruler of Midheaven) aspects relating to her occupation, For transiting planets I allow a six degree orb. At the time of the election transiting Jupiter is at 25 Scorpio on her Ascendant, South Node and Jupiter. Transiting Saturn at 24 Leo has returned to her Saturn, strengthening her commitment to serve in the Senate. Any conscious or subconscious decision one makes at the time of a Saturn return usually becomes a future reality. Transiting Pluto at 25 Sagittarius conjoins progressed Mercury (26:18 Sag), the ruler of her Midheaven. It guarantees her reelection.

For the following election on November 6, 2012, progressed Jupiter is at 14:50 Sagittarius TRINING natal and progressed Pluto and Mars! The Lunar eclipse on June 4, 1012 is at 14:08 Sag, activating this trine! Not only that, but transiting Jupiter at 15 Gemini gives the GREEN LIGHT to this fortuitous progression. There can be no doubt that she will be victorious, but her life is not without great anxiety and challenges! Why? Because on Nov. 13, 2012 the solar eclipse at 21:57 Scorpio activates progressed Saturn at 22:02 Leo SQUARE her natal Ascendant and natal Mercury. Mercury rules her Midheaven and 8th house (surgery/death). She may be able to handle the trauma, anxiety, nervous tension, frustrations, surgery and/or health problems because the eclipse also activates favorably progressed true So. Node at 22:23 Scorpio TRINE her natal Moon at 22:51 Pisces; and the progressed South Node conjunct her natal ascendant and Mercury! Her mental focus, intelligence and spiritual inclinations should guide her through any stressful situations.

She may have confrontations in the Senate, as the Right Ascension Mean Sun progressed Midheaven at 13:30 Scorpio squares natal Mars at 14 Leo. The Solar Arc progressed Ascendant at 15:16 Capricorn quincunxes natal Pluto, the herald of death and transition. It is very possible that her Mother or someone close to her might pass away around this time since transiting Saturn is at 3 Scorpio conjunct her natal Sun, while transiting Pluto conjoins her progressed Sun at 8:04 Capricorn. Saturn and Pluto on her natal and progressed Sun! What an impressive combination for the possible timing of an event relating to the passing through transition of a loved one. Transiting Saturn connotes the fears and uncertainties of the outcome of the election as well as sorrow, responsibility and rewards. Saturn always gives you what you deserve! (If she were wise, she would consult an astrologer who would allay her doubts as to the results of the election).

With the auspicious Jupiter aspects, she apparently deserves power, achievement, status and leadership ability. With these placements, if she ran for the office of the president, she might possibly win (if her Mother is still living), but she most likely would not be reelected as president four years later, as the progressed aspects are less supportive.

Now we will go on to the next Senatorial election on November 6, 2018. The Solar Arc progressed Midheaven is 16:58 Scorpio conjunct natal Venus at 16:14 Scorpio. Wow! What could be more fortuitous! Not only that, but the Solar Arc progressed Ascendant at 21:53 Capricorn sextiles natal Mercury at 21:24 Scorpio (remember, that is the career/occupation ruler) BUT at the same time, it quincunxes natal Saturn at 21:17 Leo. She may have a health problem or surgery, with past karma (Saturn) catching up to her. One cannot harbor negative thoughts of self-pity, resentment and be unforgiving without the subtle bodies of the multidimensional Self being affected at sometime in the life. Progressed Jupiter at 16:07 Sagittarius semi-sextiles natal Venus. That is helpful, though a semi-sextile is not very potent. The progressed Sun at 14:10 Capricorn quincunxes natal Mars and Pluto.

This may be interpreted as a separation from the men in her life, and/or some surgery, and/or tribulations relating to her leadership position and/or even to her defeat at election, (which I doubt). Progressed Venus at 14:37 Aquarius OPPOSES natal Mars and Pluto. This to me really suggests a parting from her spouse. The ruler of the 7th house of partners, separates from the rulers of the 1st house. The solar eclipse on August 11, 2018 at 18:41 Leo activates all of these secondary progressions, including the progressed Ascendant quincunx Saturn. The solar eclipse nineteen years before on August 11, 1999 was on her Saturn, the natural ruler of the 10th house of work, status and profession. It catapulted her into a new career and stimulated her idealism for a better society.

Progressed Mercury at 15:25 Capricorn quincunxes natal Pluto and it also semi-squares natal Jupiter. Mercury is also the ruler of the 8th house of death. Jupiter rules the 2nd house, which is the spouse's 8th house of death. The solar eclipse of August 11, 2018 and transiting Mercury activate these progressions. The Venus/Pluto/Mars aspects might relate to a possible separation from partner/spouse through death. (Bill Clinton would be around 72 years of age). In the Vedic astrological chart, Bill Clinton would be in a Saturn dasha (planetary period) and his natal Saturn is exactly, but exactly to the minute, on a fatal degree!

All of these contradictory directions make for a lively but (hopefully) friendly discussion among astrologers attempting to forecast the outcome of this 2018 election. Transiting Pluto is on her Progressed ascendant opposing the progressed Descendant. That too can mean a possible death of spouse. Transiting Saturn, the planet that confers responsibility and the working out of karma, will be on her progressed Sun (the men in her life) and transiting Jupiter will be on her natal Jupiter and her East Point.

She will be reelected in my opinion.

On November 5, 2024 when she is 77 years of age, the Solar Arc progressed MC at 23:05 Scorpio conjoins her ascendant. The progressed Sun at 20:18 Capricorn ALMOST but not quite, sextiles natal Mercury and the Ascendant. It quincunxes natal Saturn. The progressed Sun or Ascendant in a stress aspect to Saturn is always very difficult. At her age, there can be health problems and/or disappointment, sorrow or emotional challenges.

The progressed Moon at 23:24 Capricorn sextiles the natal South Node of the Moon. This favors the family and the home. She is probably a grandmother by this time. The progressed Solar Arc Ascendant at 29:09 Capricorn almost but not quite sextiles natal Jupiter at 00:31 Sag. Progressed Venus at 22:02 Aquarius OPPOSES natal Saturn and SQUARES the Ascendant and natal Mercury. This Venus square and opposition might augur the end of her political triumphs. Progressed Uranus at 23:05 Gemini SQUARES her natal Moon at 22:51 Pisces. This aspect is ACTIVATED by the Lunar Eclipse on Sept. 18, 2024 at 25:46 Pisces on her natal Moon. This definitely denotes a change of residence.

Transiting Pluto at 29 Capricorn is exactly on her progressed Ascendant. She may require surgery, or there may be some loss or even theft. Progressed Mercury at 25:18 Capricorn quincunxes natal Uranus. Quincunxes relating to Uranus indicate a change of direction, aspiration or circumstance. In this case it would be a change connected to her occupation since Mercury is the ruler of her MC. She might write a book, a newspaper column or find employment in the media industry. Transiting Uranus at 25 Taurus activates this progression.

In previous elections eclipses activated sextiles and trines but this time, it activates a square involving Uranus and the ruler of her Midheaven. In my opinion, she would lose this election if she ran.
